Cisco Certified Design Associate (640-864) Retiring Soon!

CCDA 640-864 exam is retiring by Dec 30th this year. The new CCDA exam has already been released by Cisco Systems, and it will be the only exam available after that date for CCDA certification. 200-310 Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions (DESGN) v3.0 replaces the existing 640-864 exam. A valid CCENT or a valid CCNA Routing and Switching or any CCIE certification can act as a prerequisite.

Cisco CCDA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass ONE of the following before the certification expiration date:
1. Successfully complete any current Associate-level exam except for ICND1 exam, or
2. Successfully complete any current professional-level exam, or
3. Successfully complete any current Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams or MeetingPlace Specialist exams, Implementing Cisco TelePresence Installations (ITI) exams, Cisco Leading Virtual Classroom Instruction exams, or any 650 online exams), or
4. Successfully complete any current CCIE Written Exam, or Pass the current CCDE Written Exam OR current CCDE Practical Exam, or
5. Successfully complete the Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) interview AND the CCAr board review to extend lower certifications
